You may remember the post from back in January about Chris Robertson's Build-off Bike for the TCU forum. If not, scoll to the bottom of the page or look thru the "past posts" on the sidebar.
Anyway, here is the Honda Shadow VLX 600 as it sits today, ready for the street. More proof that with with a cheap donor and a little imagination you can have a cool looking scoot without spending an arm and a leg to do so.

Thanks for the mention Barry! It was a blast to build and done so on the very Low Cost side. Without the hand tooled seat and just using the regular pan I made for it I have around $600.00 total invested. Throw in the hand tooled seat and I am around the $1000.00 range. Still an excellent nice riding bike for under a grand. We need to gather a bunch of parts and have a So'Full Garage build party!
