Sparky for the win!
Dirty Sparkles won Best of Show for his '68 FLH and Best Crusier. We weren't sure about the Best Cruiser class, hahaha, but cool nonetheless!

Peace & Grease Tour 2012
"I was crossing the Kansas / Missouri border this evening when I passed a guy standing next to his chop on the side of the road. As i passed i noticed it was an sohc 750. I pulled a u-turn to go back and see if he was ok or needed anything. He was just stopped to take a break and to helmet up for Missouri. We talked awhile and turns out he had taken some time off to ride, was from Nashville, had been out west and was headed back. Pretty cool ol' chop, made his own frame and tank. No rear down tube a little extra stretch in the back. Unusual but cool bike. Kinda funny, he had his own sticker made up for the ride...it's in his hand in the pic and says: "I am Don Wood 2012 tour peace and grease." - Richard.
I think it may be the dude that was on "Moonshiners"
I don't watch TV but that's what a buddy told me.

Detroit Rock City.
What a fuggin blast we had in MI this past weekend!
A day and a half of extreme bliss chaos.
Got to hang out with the Michigander Crew, met Ron Finch & OD, had a minor crash, was miserable riding in the rain, drank some Labatt Blue, went sight seeing from the lowliest of low neighborhoods to the richest of the rich....saw Jack White's former house and Meg White's current one.
Toured thru The Michigan Building, which was the sight of Henry Ford's shop....the birthplace of the automobile...the building there now is a fuggin parking garage, but was a concert hall where bands like Led Zeppelin played back in the day.
It was a crazy weekend and here's a link to ALL the pics: http://s130.photobucket.com/albums/p252/landman76/

Michigan Bound.
Me and Weird are heading to MI at 2 a.m. I'm going to bed about 7-8 pm tonight while he goes to see Coheed & Cambria. When he returns home, we'll have everything loaded and ready to roll and hit it.
We are going up to see Clutch in Flint on Sunday, but have a group of friends up there we'll be staying and partying with: Roadkill & Jennifer, Stuntman, Butch, Minno, Al, Wino, Randy...shit I know I'm leaving someone out, but you get the idea.
Saturday afternoon we are riding up to Pontiac to visit living legend, Ron Finch. Then on up to Flint to attend our buddy Al's shop party. Bands, beer, and babes...bring your "gummies" boys!
Come sunday we'll be rolling thru the ghettos of Detroit rock city and taking a few laps on the Thunderdrome. Then back up to Flint for the sold out Clutch concert that night.
Dammit man, gonna be a helluva weekend!

I'm Stoked!
On a whim yestderday I contacted Eric Dressen, he got back to me today, and I'm gonna get tattooed by him while out in the L.A. area this summer. I grew up watching this dude in all the old Santa Cruz skateboard videos. He was rollin' with the Venice Beach and Dogtown crew back in the 80's-90's and rode Santa Cruz's Speed Wheels. Hell, he probably is still rollin' with those dudes!
He is a style king extraordanaire, both in his skating and in his tattooing. Man, this is too cool.
